St. Mary’s Convent J. H. School, Cantt Varanasi celebrated Children’s Day and Sports Day with great enthusiasm and joy. The programme began with the garlanding of the portrait of Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru by Sr. Alfreda, the Vice-Headmistress, followed by the lighting of the lamp by Sr. Jamila (Headmistress), Tr. Anjala, Tr. Shreya, the Head Girl, and the Head Boy, symbolising knowledge and wisdom.

To mark the spirit of peace and harmony, pigeon releasing was done by Sr. Jamila, the Sports Head Girl, and the Head Boy. After this, Sr. Jamila officially declared the Sports Day open.

The day featured vibrant and energetic sports events from Montessori to Class IV, where young students actively participated with great excitement. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony for both the Charity Matches and the day’s events.

The celebration beautifully reflected the joy, teamwork, and spirit of Children’s Day, making it a memorable occasion for all.
